Mark Sprenger, President

Mark is a co-founder of eSource Marketing the first search marketing company working exclusively with real estate agents. His time in front of a computer stretches back to 7th grade, when he wrote his own shareware videogames. Mark now has 20 years of experience working in the technology field including database development, web application development, web analytics, and web conversion analysis.

Mark is one of 250 Certified Google Advertising Professionals nationwide and one of a only a few who specialize in the real estate industry. Mark has been extremely successful in delivering results using niche targeting tactics to optimize returns on search advertising campaigns.

In 2005 under Mark’s direction eSource Marketing, in cooperation with Google’s Beta program, developed a web-based application interfacing directly with Google’s AdWords servers – an application used by real estate agents to manage certain aspects of their online advertising campaigns.

In addition to managing advertising campaigns, Mark regularly conducts Search marketing seminars for groups of agents and he’s a regular guest on several radio programs related to real estate and the internet.

Mark earned a degree in Engineering from the University of California at Davis.

When Mark isn’t at work, you’ll find him on the sidelines cheering for his children at various sporting functions.

Patrick Woodard, Program Manager

Patrick is a co-founder of eSource Marketing. He has extensive management and technical expertise, including 12 years as project manager and quality assurance director at one of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturers.

For the past seven years, Patrick has helped developed powerful and exclusive technology for eSource Marketing. By applying a depth of software and database knowledge, he’s put eSource Marketing on the cutting edge of online advertising.

Joanna Sprenger, Account Manager


Joanna has been an integral part of the eSource Marketing team since 2002. Her background includes extensive customer service and financial experience. She enjoys the challenge and variety a day at eSource Marketing can bring. From working with customers to strengthen their online advertising experience, to balancing the books, Joanna always has a smile on her face.

Joanna also works just as hard away from work, training for marathons. She proudly completed her first 26.2 this past October.

When she’s not working or training, you’ll find Joanna watching her children excel at local sports.

David Freitas, Web Marketing Director

David has worked in the communications industry for more than a decade, where he spent much of that time in front of the camera as a television reporter. He recently transitioned to the field of online marketing because of a fervent belief in the power of online media and marketing. He’s putting his story-telling and time management skills to work, helping people develop and deliver their marketing message through technology.

David has a degree in History and Journalism from Gonzaga University, in Spokane, Washington. He also holds a Master’s in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his wife exploring the Sacramento, California region. On weekends, you might find him on the slopes of Tahoe or running around Sacramento’s many paths and trails.

Roman Bills, Technical Operations

Roman has spent six years in web development and advertising as a profession and much longer than that as a hobby. He also has a solid background as a web consultant, helping to launch dozens of sites across numerous web related fields. Google has recognized his expertise in the online marketing field by certifying him as a Google AdWords Professional.

As a detail oriented person, Roman helps eSource Marketing clients find and develop hidden niches and use them to boost their business. Always entrepreneurial, Roman founded and ran his own New Media Design firm before joining eSource Marketing. He applies that same go-get-‘em spirit to the online advertising services he provides eSource Marketing customers.

When he’s not optimizing and strategizing the next great online marketing technique, you’ll find Roman on the soccer pitch or hanging out with his large, tight knit family.
